Your Dream Car Finder is the result of over 30 years of passion for classic cars.
For us, we close our eyes and see all the cool cars cruising the Miracle Mile when we were 16 or 17 – and we want them all! Classic Corvettes, Chevelles, GTOs – the occasional Doge Hemi ‘Cuda or Shelby Cobra. (Remember the old TV detective series Honey West (Anne Francis) with her white1965 CSX 2540 Shelby Cobra?) Awesome.
We started Your Dream Car Finder as a direct result of getting frustrated searching for our own cars. We spent hours and hours sifting through classifieds and dealing with flakey or unrealistic sellers (Ever try buying a house from a For Sale by Owner where their perceived value was way higher than the closest comp?). Classic cars are no different.
Through it all, we ended up with a solid network of reputable dealers and learned how to quickly evaluate a private seller’s listing as to fact or fantasy. As news got out between family and friends, we started to get calls like, “I always wanted …. can you find it for me?” “What about financing, insurance, transportation?”
So two guys with a passion for cars ditched the corporate world for good and started focusing on what we like best – finding, driving, restoring, buying and sellers classic cars.
